Tom has been studying and teaching pipe band drumming for almost 3 decades. He has played at the idiom's highest level while in the ranks of "The Clan", the 78th Frasers Toronto, Toronto Metro Police, Peel Regional Police and now performs with lead-tip Doug Stronach in the Toronto Police. In 2007, Tom took over the Mohawk Valley Frasers Pipe Band lead drummer position from Tony Rashid who will be staying on as a corps player in the Grade 3 band. Tom is very excited about working with all the bands within the Mohawk Valley organization and hopes to share his knowledge with all drummers both young, and young at heart. Tom has produced numerous tutorial videos in the form of an online video service and DVDs. He arranges scores with audio and video support materials for other bands and solo players and instructs using custom distance learning techniques.
